Cookie Policy

Organization: LTHS, Inc. (Litehouse)

Version: 1.1

Effective Date: April 2026

Applicable Frameworks: GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, PECR, CCPA/CPRA

1. Scope and Application

This Cookie Policy applies to the Litehouse public website at litehou.se and the Litehouse platform login portal. It explains what cookies and similar technologies are used, why they are used, and how you can manage your preferences.

This Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy (litehou.se/privacy), which provides full details of how Litehouse processes personal data, including data collected via cookies.

Scope of This Policy: This policy covers cookies used on the Litehouse public website (litehou.se) and the Auth0-hosted login portal. It does not cover cookies or tracking technologies used within client-configured deployments of the Litehouse platform. Cookies within client environments are governed by the relevant client's own cookie policy and consent framework.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website or use a web application. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies: Temporary cookies deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies: Cookies that remain for a set period or until manually deleted.
  • First-party cookies: Cookies set directly by Litehouse.
  • Third-party cookies: Cookies set by external service providers.

We may also use similar technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons. For simplicity, this policy refers to all such technologies as cookies.

3. Our Cookie Footprint

As an enterprise B2B SaaS company with a light public website and an application entirely situated behind an authentication portal, Litehouse's cookie footprint is intentionally minimal.

We do not run consumer-facing marketing funnels, do not use retargeting advertising networks, and our application platform does not rely on cookies beyond those strictly necessary for authentication and security.

ContextCookie Usage
litehou.se public websiteStrictly necessary cookies (Enzuzo consent management); optional analytics cookies to understand site usage (consent required via Enzuzo banner); optional marketing/engagement cookies if B2B outreach tools are active (consent required).
Auth0 login portalStrictly necessary cookies only for session tokens, CSRF protection, and MFA state. No analytics or marketing cookies are placed within the authentication flow.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website and authentication portal to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems and do not require your consent. They are placed automatically when you access our site or login portal.

They are used for:

  • Storing your cookie consent preferences via Enzuzo so we do not ask again on repeat visits
  • Maintaining authenticated sessions via Auth0
  • CSRF protection
  • Multi-factor authentication state management
  • Load balancing and basic infrastructure routing

4.2 Analytics and Performance Cookies

These cookies help count visits and understand website interaction so we can improve the performance of our site. All information is aggregated and does not personally identify individual visitors. These cookies are placed only after you have given consent via the Enzuzo banner.

5. Consent and Legal Basis

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), prior informed consent is required before placing non-essential cookies.

Cookie CategoryLegal Basis
Strictly necessaryNo consent required. These cookies are required for core operation and cannot be disabled.
Analytics and performanceConsent - placed only after you have actively accepted this category via the Enzuzo consent banner.
Marketing and B2B engagementConsent - placed only after you have actively accepted this category via the Enzuzo consent banner.

Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Enzuzo uses explicit opt-in and pre-ticked boxes are never used. Refusing non-essential cookies does not block access to our website or platform. You may withdraw consent at any time with the same ease as giving it.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

6.1 Enzuzo Cookie Consent Manager

Litehouse uses Enzuzo as its cookie consent management platform on litehou.se. Enzuzo is a Google Consent Mode V2 certified CMP and is compliant with the GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, CCPA/CPRA, and IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF).

When you first visit litehou.se, Enzuzo presents a consent banner allowing you to accept all categories, reject all non-essential categories, or customise your preferences by category. Non-essential cookies are blocked from firing until you have given explicit consent.

Your preferences are stored and respected on subsequent visits. Consent records are logged in a tamper-proof audit trail in accordance with GDPR Article 7. You can revisit and update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Manage Cookies" link in the footer of litehou.se.

About Enzuzo: Enzuzo (enzuzo.com) is a privacy compliance platform providing cookie consent management, policy generation, and data subject request management. Enzuzo acts as a data processor for Litehouse in the context of consent management. Enzuzo's privacy policy: enzuzo.com/privacy-policy

6.2 Browser-Level Controls

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies.

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Blocking cookies at the browser level - including strictly necessary cookies - may prevent some parts of our site or login portal from functioning correctly.

6.3 Third-Party Opt-Out Tools

6.4 Previously Set Cookies

If you withdraw consent or change your preferences via Enzuzo, cookies set prior to that change are not retroactively deleted unless you clear them manually via your browser. However, Enzuzo immediately stops placing new cookies in any category for which you have withdrawn consent and signals that withdrawal to connected tools.

7. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit Do Not Track (DNT) signals. There is no agreed technical standard for response, and the Litehouse website does not alter its cookie practices in response to DNT signals.

We encourage you to use the Enzuzo cookie consent manager (Section 6.1) to control your preferences directly, as this provides a more reliable and granular mechanism than browser-level DNT signals.

8. Third-Party Cookies and Services

Where third-party cookies are used, those providers may process personal data under their own privacy policies. Litehouse engages providers considered to have appropriate data protection standards.

Relevant third-party privacy policies include:

10. Changes to This Policy

Litehouse may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in cookie usage, the tools we deploy, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Where material changes are made, Enzuzo will display a refreshed consent banner on litehou.se to give you the opportunity to review and update your preferences.
